10:00 ADULT FORUM begins a 7 week series today on issues of aging called Winter of Christian Life: The Generations Consider Difficult Choices. ________________ will lead the discussion on a case study “A Winter Struggle” which follows a family for five weeks as they make difficult end-of-life decisions; yet in the midst of winter still find joy, love and peace. Today we will find out “What’s Winter Like?” and see “It’s Not Necessarily Bad.”

10:00 ADULT FORUM discusses the Winter of Christian Life: The Generations Consider Difficult Decisions. A timely topic since family and friends provide about 80% of the care for the frail elderly. Session 2, "A Time of Heroic Helplessness", led by _______________, explores the viewpoint of one receiving care as well as how American culture views dependency and death. Just as Jesus asked his disciples to go with him to the garden of Gethsemane, so we are called to share the suffering of others.
