Spring of Christian Life: Understanding the Faith Journey of Younger Adults
Session 1
TODAY THE ADULT FORUM begins six journeys for adults of all ages that will look at issues facing post high school adults. The discussion series from LifeCrossings called Spring of Christian Life: Understanding the Faith Journey of Younger Adults was written by Dick and Judy Reuning together with Rev. Julie Reuning-Scherer. The first journey, or Session One “Who Am I Becoming?”, includes the parable of the Prodigal Son and a reflection by a young woman about the ‘highs’ and ‘lows’ of her faith. ADULT FORUM TODAY: The six-week LifeCrossings series, Spring of Christian Life: Understanding the Faith Journey of Younger Adults, ends today with “Developing Faith Amid Questions”. We’ll look at a snapshot of faith from the book of James, discuss what brings happiness to our lives and dig into descriptions of faith development. We'll conclude by looking at how persons in different stages of faith could have very different perspectives on controversial questions affecting the church.
