QUALITY ASSURED!
The mission of LifeCrossings is to cover the important and timely issues facing Christian adults and to present these using the most helpful teaching approach. We can consistently provide high quality resources because we are different in at least three significant ways: first, we have an independent Advisory Board that reviews and critiques our first drafts of each participant book. Secondly, we field test all of our materials before printing. Thirdly, we incorporate learning approaches that take advantage of the latest research on adult learning.
LifeCrossings Advisory Board
Each publication is reviewed in depth by an Advisory Board. We gain invaluable suggestions for additional topics and sources to research before we revise the participant book for the field-test sites. The Advisory Board has representation from many Christian faith traditions and provides expertise in areas as diverse as theology, psychology, science, engineering, mathematics, health care, pedagogy, the arts, ethics, youth and health ministries. The Board includes a counseling psychologist, an engineer, a church musician, a theologian, four parish pastors, a non-profit executive, and three college educators.

Field Testing
Each of our books has been field-tested in individual churches which vary in size, locale and denomination. Based on their responses we can clarify, simplify or expand sections to aid participant’s understanding. In addition to ourselves, other field-test leaders have been pastors and teachers as well as lay members with little or no teaching experience. Their feedback on the Leader’s Guide assures that the most helpful teaching approach is described. Responses from the field-test discussion questions are included in the Leader’s Guide as hints for discussion starters. We also offer suggestions for dealing with discussions on sensitive issues.
